GMB's Susanna Reid compared to iconic American actress after hair makeover

Susanna Reid is still be showered with compliments after getting back in the hairdressing chair last week.

The Good Morning Britain host showed of her post-lockdown look live on last Monday's show.

Susanna, 50, paid a visit to the Richard Ward hair salon in Chelsea, west London, as did many others across England as salons reopened on April 12.

But it's took a whole week for GMB co-star Andi Peters to spot a resemblance she had to a certain iconic American actress.

While hosting the competition segment on today's show, Andi said: "I always think of myself as a bit Denzel Washington, if I'm honest? I think I see the likeness.

"Susanna, I think everybody knows, you really are looking very Jennifer and I am loving every minute."

Susanna, who was co-hosting today's show with Adil Ray, was then shown a side-by-side shot of herself and Jennifer whose locks were a staple of her character in Friends.

"Oh!" Susanna gasped in response before Adil chipped in: "Oh hello!" Adil exclaimed. "Look at that!"

"I didn't realise that I'd modelled myself on Jennifer Aniston!" Susanna said.

Adil then joked: "Which one's Jennifer?!" to which jokingly replied: "No Adil, which one's Susanna?!"

But the comments appeared to divide viewers.

One complimented: "I'm loving Susanna's new hair ! @susannareid100 #gmb.£

While another remarked: "Oh please she looks NOTHING like Jennifer Anniston opticians are open now you know. #GMB."
