GMB's Richard Madeley compares Susanna Reid to wife Judy after funny reaction

Richard Madeley has compared his Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid to his wife Judy after her reaction to his bizarre story.

The presenter left fans with chills as he shared a ghost encounter at Disneyland Paris on yesterday's show, and when it was brought up again by Andi Peters during today's programme, Richard joked with Susanna for "rolling her eyes" at his tale.

He said his wife Judy Finnigan would have the exact same reaction as he compared his 'work wife' and his spouse.

"I just love how yesterday, when I started with one of my stories, the way you rolled your eyes," he said on the ITV show on Tuesday morning.

"It was as if Judy was here. Like, 'Oh he's off again. Here we go. Another yarn.'"

Richard told his ghost story as they discussed the prize Andi Peters had to offer a lucky viewer, which included a trip to Disneyland Paris.

"I've got to say that is a brilliant prize but I always get a shiver down neck when somebody talks about Euro Disney," he began, making Susanna roll her eyes as she interjected.

She remarked: "Oh here we go."

The presenter initially didn't tell his story in full, but did reveal he had seen a ghost during his trip.

He said: "Because I saw a ghost. I saw a ghost on a visit to Euro Disney. I definitely saw something, it's too a long a story to tell here and now but it was very strange."

However, later on, he gave more detail about his ghostly encounter.

He recalled: "I woke up in the middle of the night and I realised Judi had got out of bed.

"I thought 'Oh is she sleep walking?' and my hand hit the real the Judy who was sleeping next to me."

Richard said the supernatural figure shot across the room at a super speed, but Susanna was quick to joke about the encounter and its relevance to the prize as it didn't even happen at Disneyland Paris.

She said: "Can I just point out it had nothing to do with Disneyland Paris. It was just a hotel in Paris. That's like saying Buckingham Palace is haunted because you stayed in a hotel in London."

But Richard quickly shot back, adding: "Listen, you asked for the story."
