GMB's Ranvir Singh in hot water with viewers as they 'feel sorry' for Charlotte Hawkins

Ranvir Singh has found herself in hot water with viewers as she teamed up with Charlotte Hawkins.

The TV presenter was back fronting Good Morning Britain on Wednesday.

Ranvir, 44, and Charlotte, 43, spoke on Tuesday's show about the rarity of them hosting the show together.

They then joked about the ever-changing presenting line-up after viewer complaints before moving on with the show.

But they were both back on Wednesday, and viewers were once again quick to vent their frustrations.

Those tuning into the ITV news programme picked up on Ranvir's habit - and they weren't happy about it.

"Is Ranvir the chief today? She keeps talking over everyone," one pointed out.

Another fumed: "Ranvir should ask questions and not make a point before asking the questions! So annoying!!! #gmb @GMB."

"I’m starting to feel sorry for Charlotte sitting there like a lemon while Ranvir constantly talks over her," a third added.

Viewers had a lot to say about the show (ITV)

A fourth said: "I think Ranvir forgets sometimes that’s it’s a two presenter show and not just her #gmb."

The issue came to light early in the programme during a segment about the Paralympics which has officially got underway.

Revealing the first gold medal of the games for Team GB, Charlotte started: "Sarah Storey has won a gold medal and Crystal Lane White has won a silver medal in the women’s C5 3000m individual pursuits."

"That was great news, an amazing win," she added before Ranvir interrupted: "That’s her 15th gold, isn’t it?"

Charlotte continued to finish what she was saying, adding: "It’s absolutely brilliant," as Ranvir spoke on top of her: "Let’s go to Sarah’s hometown of Manchester."

Charlotte attracted similar complaints last week when she hosted the program with Kate Garraway.

Viewers complained on social media that they were struggling to follow the interview, and other parts of the show, due to Charlotte and Kate talking over each other.

The presenting pair ended up apologising to each other as they each attempted to speak and ask questions during their leading interviews.
