GMB's Ranvir Singh admits she felt 'so low' after Strictly Come Dancing ended

Ranvir Singh has admitted that she felt very low after Strictly Come Dancing ended last year.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 43, impressed viewers with professional partner Giovanni Pernice and made it to the semi-final.

But she has said that she found it tough after having to put away her dancing shoes and was left feeling down - something she reveals a lot of the other stars also experienced.

Speaking to GMB hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, Ranvir said: "It's really strange because Christmas week, the second week [after exit] I felt so flat. The first week out I was fine!

"The second week out I felt so low and then I was messaging Clara [Amfo] and Max [George] and they were going, 'Yeah, it happens to everybody'. Everybody gets this comedown - it's so strange. Piers, you'll find out when you agree to do it!"

Susanna exclaimed: "Yes!"

But Piers dismissed that he would ever take part, saying: "They can't afford me, unfortunately."

"We're all trying to help with that budget," Susanna quipped.

Ranvir and Giovanni's chemistry on the dance floor kept thousands of Strictly fans glued to their TVs as they speculated whether the pair were a real-life item.

But both have insisted that they are friends - though they do enjoy a flirt now and again.
