It is understood that the pair's paths crossed as Louis was a production secretary on the series Ranvir took part in 2020.

Journalist Ranvir - who competed on the BBC dancing show alongside professional Giovanni Pernice - has now opened up about her new romance for the first time.

Gushing about finding love, the TV favourite told The Sun: "I’m really happy."And the outlet report that things are serious with the couple as Louis is already a part of Ranvir's nine-year-old son's life with the trio being "a really happy family unit."

An insider dished: "Ranvir and Louis have been dating for a few months and are totally in love."

They added: "They seemed like a really happy family unit. It’s so great to see Ranvir so happy again."

Fans will be happy to hear that Ranvir's love life is on the up following her divorce from ex-husband Ranjeet Singh Dehal - who is the father of her son Tushaan.

Ranvir tied the knot with Ranjeet in 2012 and in 2019 left fans surprised when she casually dropped live on GMB that she was single.

Nonchalantly revealing the heartbreaking details on the reason for the breakdown of her marriage, told co-host Ben Shephard on air: “Well, I’m single,” Ranvir confirmed she was no longer with her Ranjeet.

She went on to suggest that she had found something incriminating on her husband’s phone when discussing a GMB segment about whether you should ever check your partner’s device.

Asked if she had ever done it, Ranvir said: “I have looked at it once.”

“Is that why you’re no longer together?” Ben replied.

Keeping quiet on the full details, Ranvir responded: “I can’t answer that question.

“But I have always thought that if you ever felt you need to do that then the relationship is over, because you obviously don’t trust that person.”

She continued: “I found something that needed addressing. So I would say you think you don’t need to do it, until you do.”
