GMB's pottery segment goes very wrong over Kate Garraway's 'phallic' clay creation

Good Morning Britain's segment on pottery went, predictably, very wrong as host Kate Garraway and Richard Arnold tried to copy that famous Ghost scene.

The pair sat at a pottery spinning wheel with a lump of clay.

But when they began to shape it into a pot... only it ended up looking decidedly phallic.

Sharing a clip online, the ITV programme's official account tweeted: "Just an innocent pottery making demonstration, nothing to see here."

Things got a little... awkward (ITV)

And fans were left cringing over the awkward video.

One tweeted: "wtf."

While another failed to see the funny side, commenting: "Another inappropriate activity at breakfast time, after the stripper episode, when will this programme learn ?....probably never, the above is about their level."

But a third remarked: "I do like Kate, she's a funny lady."

"Well.... that went a bit wrong... lol," another quipped.

Another wrote: "Watching this, this morning, so funny."

One commented: "Howling while on the treadmill! Nearly fell off! Not that I've a dirty mind but that looks rude! Or maybe I have!"
