ITV Good Morning Britain presenter in tears after terrifying weather report from Blackpool Tower

Imagine being asked to do your job while dangling off a tower with a 500 foot drop below you.

That’s what poor Laura Tobin had to do today - and it more than put the wind up her.

The Good Morning Britain presenter conducted her terrifying weather report after abseiling off the top of the tower - and couldn’t help but let out a few swear words in the process.

As she went backwards off the ledge, a terrified Laura accidentally shrieked, "f***!" then said: "Sorry, I might have said a bleep word."

But that wasn’t the last of the naughty words - Laura started screaming and then yelled out "c**p".

She followed it up with: "Is c**p a swear word? Oh god I said it again."

Laura later welled up when she was delivered a sweet message of support from her twin brother Mark.

He tweeted: "Really very proud. If you'd told me in a million years that you'd be up Blackpool tower I'd never have believed it."

Through tears, she said: "That's so nice of him to say. I thought he was going to say something mean."

As a crowd of tourists cheered below, poor Laura clinged onto the rope with her life, admitting she didn’t want to move.

Laura said: "I just can’t move from here. I’m going to go up after this because I don’t think I can go out again. It's really scary.

"I’m on the edge of excited and nervous. I haven't let go of this and I haven’t looked down yet. Oh my god we are high."

Waving down to the watchful crowd, Laura started screaming again before admitting she was on the verge of saying a bleep word again.

"I cannot tell you how many swear words are on the tip of my tongue," she admitted.

She the read out her bulletin, joking about temperatures taking a tumble - “hopefully not like me."

Viewers were impressed with her bravery and took to Twitter to praise her.
