Good Morning Britain star Laura Tobin joked a crew member may have been drinking, after an awkward blunder on the show on Wednesday.
The weather presenter was about to host her latest forecast on the ITV show, before being cut off.
After around three words, as she spoke to hosts Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins, she was interrupted.
Laura could be heard saying: "Oh..." as she was cut off and couldn't continue talking.
As the camera panned back to her, she re-attempted to host her segment.
Laura had barely started her segment when suddenly the usual weather advertisement played over the time.
She vanished from the screen, and the sound of the advert drowned out any noise from the studio.
It's then that she joked it was likely a crew member in charge of the segment had had an alcoholic beverage.
Ben and Charlotte had just been discussing Buckingham Palace's new gin.
After Ben had been sent a bottle of it to try, Charlotte was keen to find out if there was any left.
But her co-host revealed that when there's gin in the Shephard household, it doesn't stay there for very long.
Very timely, the blunder occurred on air leading to Laura questioning if the person behind it may also have been on the gin.
She said: "I think somebody had been drinking gin just then," triggering laughter from the crew.
Laura recently returned to the studio for the first time since March, when the UK was put into lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
