Good Morning Britain 's Kate Garraway has described a heartwarming family moment with husband Derek Draper.
The GMB presenter shared the incredible milestone as she reflected on how far Derek has come after being hospitalised with Covid-19 last year.
Speaking to GMB co-host Richard Bacon on Chirstmas Eve, Kate revealed the "biggest gift" this year was being able to spend Christmas at home with Derek as she thanked NHS staff and carers.

"I have a huge amount of gratitude for all the staff and the NHS teams that have kept him alive," she explained. "This year of course, he's home, so we'll be spending Christmas together and that is the biggest gift, it's kind of hard to get your head around really."
"We've still got fears and we've still got a long way to go," Kate added as she thanked people in the community, her friends and family as well as nurses, therapists and "the most extraordinary carers".

"They have been phenomenal," Kate said. "It's just amazing."
She added: "Without them we wouldn't be able to be together, so thank you very much to everyone."
Kate also shared a heartwarming moment the family had yesterday while playing a game together.
"We had a little moment yesterday," Kate explained to GMB viewers. "Obviously he still has extraordinary problems with communication, mobility is very limited, massive problems with fatigue and sometimes, he doesn't go unconscious at all, it's the wrong word, but it's like he's not present with you.
"And we were playing a silly, silly game, one of those moral question games and it asked 'who is most likely to find money on the floor and keep it?'.
"We were playing it in his bedroom so that he could still be part of it," she went on. "And everyone in the room, which was my mum and dad, Darcey, Billy and myself, all said at the same time, 'Darcey!' and he started to laugh.
"And it was just the most lovely moment. He does get it, he does understand and he's right! Because she is the most likely to find money and keep it!
"You get these extraordinary flashes which create a huge sense of hope and that has to sustain you in the periods when it feels like there's never going to be any change.
"But most of all we're so lucky that we've got the chance because many people passed away and didn't have it [the chance]."
