Good Morning Britain viewers claim they noticed a 'change of atmosphere' as Kate Garraway and Adil Ray hosted the show on Tuesday.
After Susanna Reid was rather unexpectedly called into present alongside Kate on Monday, with the two coming under fire for not wearing black in respect to Prince Phillip, there was another rejigging of the presenter line-up.
And some fans picked up on something as Kate and Adil took the reins. The duo presided over GMB to talk about everything from the coronavirus to the death of Big Brother star Nikki Grahame, which saw them joined by an emotional Pete Bennett.
Watching at home, one viewer tweeted: "The atmosphere looks and sounds great in the studio today hope this means you finally put the weak link @susannareid100 to one side, Kate, Charlotte & Adil."
Another messaged Adil to say: "Watching you and Kate one day last week really cheered me up, you work so well together. Keep up the good work. Keep safe."
A third, while a fan of Kate, took aim at her co-host, commenting: "Good morning Kate hope you ok, had to turn over as cannot watch Adil, I’m sorry as do support you , so have a good day will see who’s on tomorrow , love and strength for Derek."
Kate and Adil's partnership took to the air after some viewers championed her and Susanna as the 'perfect combination' for GMB.
One tweeted: "Great to see Kate back from 6am with Susanna. The best combination available to you. First time I flicked it on and stayed since Piers left.
"After the various combinations of the last several weeks, this is the best, with Ranvir or Ben."
