Good Morning Britain host Adil Ray slammed Prime Minister Boris Johnson's reported £840-a-roll spent on wallpaper in his lavish flat refurbishment thought to be paid for by dodgy donors.
The revamp at 11 Downing Street cost up to £58,000 on top of the £30,000 the PM is entitled to in expenses, it is reported, and Johnson has still not declared where the extra money came from.
The Scottish National Party has accused Johnson of "living like a French king" amid allegations donors paid for the "luxury refurbishment", plus questions have been raised about his ten-day Mustique holiday with partner Carrie Symonds which cost £15,000, and how it was funded.
No10 insist the Prime Minister - who earns an annual salary of £157,372 - paid for the revamp out of his own pocket - despite trying to set up a trust to fund No10 repairs.

Adil and his co-host Susanna Reid made barbed remarks about the Tory sleaze scandal on Monday's show, during a debate about the style credentials of Crocs.
Holding up a pair of pink Crocs, Adil asked: "The question is, do we think Boris and Carrie wear these around Downing Street?"
"Or to Mustique?" added Susanna.
Adil asked: "Yes, what is going on there, all sorts of revelations and we still don't know the truth, but allegations keep coming thick and fast with Boris Johnson and Carrie."

Susanna replied: "Yes, we have got some details about what they may have put into the Downing Street revamp."
"This is wonderful," Adil quipped sarcastically.
Susanna said: "The designer is Lulu Lytle, and these are some of the items that you can get, this table is three grand, the sofa is called a baby bear sofa, it's almost ten grand, and the armchair is almost six grand.
"The wallpaper is £850 per roll, while Boris is alleged to raged to aides, 'The cost is totally out of control, she is buying golden wallpaper,' according to the Daily Mail.

"And when aides asked how much it was costing, he said, 'Tens and tens of thousands, I can't afford it', and there are still questions over how they got the money."
Adil seethed: "It's absolutely disgusting, everybody else, you think, 'If you can't afford something, you don't have it, get something you can afford.'
"They couldn't afford it, it's too expensive, they say, 'I tell you what, I will get somebody else to pay for it', and we don't know who that somebody else is, it all stinks."
Dr Hilary Jones chipped in: "I am surprised he is spending very much time in that accommodation, surely he is a busy man at the moment!"
Adil agreed: "And they get £30,000 as it is, they are entitled to £30,000, but he wanted more, it's pretty disgusting."
