Ben Shephard was left cringing as he admitted he felt "uncomfortable" by watching GMB weather presenter Laura Tobin ride a rollercoaster live on air in a dress.
The GMB presenter, 39, was at Thorpe Park today as she informed Good Morning Britain viewers on whether sunshine could be expected over the next few days.
But as she clambered onto the Swarm ride in her dotted blue dress, Ben and co-star Kate Garraway were left wincing as they noticed a potential issue.
"Fantastic, this is brilliant, I can't wait!" Laura chattered excitedly as the rollercoaster climbed up. "I promise I won't swear because I'm not a sweary person but I am likely to do a lot of screaming.
As Kate stared with her mouth open, she said: "I bet, because you look quite OK but this is going to get up to 100 miles an hour... oh my god!"
"The view's amazing guys," Laura continued obliviously as Ben and Kate cringed.
But as the rollercoaster descended and turned her upside down, Laura was left clutching at the hem of her dress as it went up.
"I should have worn leggings!" Laura exclaimed as she held onto her dress.
Ben almost had his head in his hands as Kate said: "Do you think she thought through the skirt?"
"No," Ben replied. "I feel quite uncomfortable."
As the rollercoaster finished, Laura said: "The good news is that there is sunshine on the way. I didn't lose my shoes and I didn't show anyone my pants, so win, win, win!"
"Yeah, sunshine all round Laura," Ben joked. "It's a sensational weather forecast, Laura, one of your finest! For many reasons!"
"Well done Laura," Kate congratulated her.
As Laura admitted that she wasn't sure if they could hear her as she couldn't hear them, Ben said: "We could hear all of you and see all of you!"
Ben made a face as Kate said: "Yeah, it was refreshing!"
"You didn't see all of me, Ben, did you?" Laura asked.
"We saw bits and pieces, Laura," Ben joked. "You carried yourself very well."
Laura exclaimed: "Oh no! Oh my goodness!"
