GMB's Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway in hysterics as Big Narstie slams Boris Johnson

Good Morning Britain hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway couldn't stop laughing as they welcomed Big Narstie onto the show on Friday.

The 35-year-old appeared via video link to discuss his new book, but the conversation somehow turned to the subject of Prime Minister Boris Johnson's expensive wallpaper.

Mum-of-two Kate said to Big Narstie: "You know the Prime Minister accused of spending lots of money and where did that money came from when he did up his apartment at No.10.

"Are you a wallpaper fan? Is this something you would spend lots of money on? Is it John Lewis?"

Big Narstie replied: "All I will say about that yeah, the Prime Minister's done worse things than going over his budget on wallpaper!

"Everyone needs to eat a Snickers bar, get some nuts and man up! The revolution!" he added, as Ben and Kate could be heard laughing.

Viewers were loving his appearance on the ITV breakfast show and took to Twitter to comment.

A fifth person added: "Big Narstie on Good Morning Britain is the funniest thing I’ve seen."

However, some viewers were fed up that the Good Morning Britain hosts kept mentioning the Prime Minister's wallpaper and accused the show of being "obsessed".

"They have no idea and it’s just wasting time on real issues. What do they think they are going to get an exclusive? They are #obsessed," one fumed.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
