GMB's Andi Peters makes dig at Alex Beresford's suit after his own trainers 'dissed'

Good Morning Britain star Andi Peters made a dig at colleague Alex Beresford’s fashion choices on Friday.

Earlier in the programme, Andi had simulated jumping on a trampoline despite standing on a rooftop and Alex made a comment about Andi’s trainers.

Later, Andi appeared via a video link to speak with Charlotte Hawkins and Alex about the new ITV competition for viewers.

However, he made a cheeky comment about Alex’s own fashion choices when speaking to the presenters.

A mischievous Andi said: “ "Charlotte, Alex, I give away so much of ITV's money if I give away a little bit less Alex we could get you a nicer suit!"

As Andi began laughing, a shocked Charlotte responded by turning to Alex: "Ooh, what are you going to say about that Alex? You just going to take that?"

Alex seemed to be surprised by the cheeky dig from Andi who went on to say: "You dissed my trainers first, you dissed my trainers."

The GMB host responded to And: "I didn't diss your trainers, I just said they weren't appropriate for jumping!”

Andi then said as the camera panned down to his footwear: "They're great...they're great, look!"

The popular presenter then proceeded to jump up and down in the trainers.

Andi went on: "Look how springy they are, Alex, they're perfect for trampolining!"

Charlotte then said to Alex: "We'll leave you to fight this one out, shall we?"

Mostly staying quiet with a stern look, Alex then said: "I'll see you after the show, mate."

Andi was very proud of his trainers which he showed off on-camera (ITV)

Alex then began laughing, while Charlotte noted: "You're in trouble now, Andi! We'll see you later thanks very much."

Andi then proceeded to jump up and down and raise his fists in a boxing style to joke that he and Alex would be fighting.

Elsewhere on Good Morning Britain on Friday, British-born Nigerian activist and commentator Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu criticised the HBO Max animated comedy The Prince for depicting eight-year-old Prince George of Cambridge for comedic purposes.
