Alex Beresford suggested that Charlotte Hawkins could rise him and Sean Fletcher like a horse on Good Morning Britain.
The presenter was hosting Thursday morning’s instalment of the ITV breakfast show when the bizarre suggestion was made following a discussion of equestrian sports and dressage with loved ones of Britain’s most decorated female equestrian, Charlotte Dujardin.
After already sharing a violent story involving a pony from his childhood earlier in the show, Alex shared after an advert break: “Welcome back to Good Morning Britain.
“During the break, we established that Charlotte Hawkins actually does dressage, you kept that quiet!”
Charlotte responded: "Well I didn't really know, because I have done quite a lot of horse-riding and it was only when she was talking about the half pass and everything, that I actually thought 'I've done a half pass”.

She added: “So, I used to do quite a lot of riding, haven't done it for a few months now, don't do it quite like that, but I have done the half pass."
It was then that Alex suggested: “We should have got a horse in the studio and everything. I tell you what.”
In response, Charlotte noted: "It might be quite tricky to do a half pass here and it has been a while so I can't claim to be as good as my namesake Charlotte Dujardin, you know. There's a bit of a difference there."

It was then that Alex had a suggestion for Friday’s show and indicated to his co-star Sean Fletcher.
Alex said: "On tomorrow's show, we could make a human horse and you could ride us."
In response, Sean said: "Ha, I'll leave that to you."
Following that idea, a surprised Charlotte said: "I'm not really liking where that's going, Alex.
“Thanks very much for the suggestion.”

Alex and Sean were then laughing at the surreal suggestion.
Charlotte then said: “Shall we move on and find out what the weather is doing?"
The ITV show then moved on to the next segment of the show after that unexpected idea.
