GMB reminisces about Susanna Reid's sexy 'bounce, bum and bongos' on Strictly

Good Morning Britain threw it back to Susanna Reid's time on Strictly Come Dancing as they discussed her sexy "bounce, bum and bongos".

As former Strictly judge Len Goodman appeared on the show this morning, Piers Morgan couldn't resist bringing up the comments he made about Susanna when she took part in the contest in 2013.

Piers instructed producers to play a clip, which showed Susanna wearing a skimpy dress to perform an energetic routine with her professional partner Kevin Clifton.

Following her dance, Len said from the panel: "You should be ashamed of yourself, a nice girl like you off the breakfast news coming out all bounce, bum and bongos.

"This is before the watershed you know, and you come out flaunting yourself like that, dear Lord, you'll get a palpitation, honestly."

The trio laughed about it in the studio, with Piers saying: "Well, she's still all bounce, bum and bongos, obviously."

Piers also asked Len, who is a judge on the US show Dancing With The Stars, about things he's said in the past about Strictly becoming "too raunchy".

He said: "I've always, when I was a judge on Strictly, said it was too raunchy for me, that's one of my things."

But Piers joked: "It was reported in the press that you do naked cha chas for your wife and that you said you're good in bed."

Len laughed: "I did say I was good in bed, I said I don't snore and I stay on my side but they left all that out."

Len was on the show to talk about his work as ambassador of Age UK.

He said: "One of the worst things about getting older can be loneliness."

Len was also asked how he feels about over 75s potentially losing their free TV licences.

He said: "I’m 75, am I bothered about paying the licence, no. I’m more than happy… but there’s millions of older people who never see a soul and their only form of entertainment is the television… What are they going to do? They are not going to put someone of 80 [in prison]. Not over a television licence."
