GMB: Rebekah Vardy says she's received death threats online amid Coleen Rooney Twitter feud

Rebekah Vardy claims she's been sent death threats following , it was revealed on GMB.

News correspondent, Charlotte Hawkins, told viewers how the 37-year-old claims to be the target of online trolls since Coleen's bombshell accusations on Wednesday.

She said: "Facing death threats and determined to prove her innocence, Rebekah Vardy is demanding proof from Coleen Rooney that her Instagram account was responsible for leaking private stories to the press."

In an interview with the Daily Mail, heavily pregnant Vardy said: "I've been told that I should die, that my children should die and that my unborn child should die."

It was also reported that police had visited Rebekah Vardy's home in Lincolnshire on Thursday amid the media storm and spoke to several security guards.

The wife of footballer Jamie Vardy made headlines across the country earlier this week after former friend Coleen Rooney called her out in a very public declaration on Twitter.

The 33-year-old tweeted how she had turned detective to prove Vardy's Instagram account was behind various 'leaked' news stories of the WAG's private life.

Twitter reacts: Coleen Rooney accuses Rebekah Vardy's Instagram account of leaking stories about her

She told her followers how over the past several months she had 'posted a series of false stories to see if they made their way into the Sun newspaper'.

Soon enough she came to the conclusion that it must have been Rebekah Vardy's account spreading the gossip - dramatically finishing her tweet with: 'It's ............Rebekah Vardy's account'.

Vardy broke her silence and hit back at Coleen shortly after, denying that she has been the one providing 'fake stories' to the press that were taken from Coleen's private Instagram.

In a bid to clear her name, she tweeted: "As I have just said to you on the phone, I wish you had called me if you thought this.

"I never speak to anyone about you as various journalists who have asked me to over the years can vouch for.

"I'm not being funny but I don't need the money, what would I gain from selling stories on you?"

Adding fuel to the fire, fellow WAG Danielle Lloyd weighed in on the argument during her appearance on This Morning yesterday.

She told Phil and Holly how she was sure Rebekah was behind the leaks as she'd had "run-ins with her in the past over similar things".
