GMB Laura Tobin forced to stop weather forecast as she breaks down

Good Morning Britain weather forecaster Laura Tobin was forced to stop her broadcast today, as she broke down in laughter.

After the break, the morning show went to Laura who was giggling away.

She apologised for her laughter and said: "I'm sorry someone told a funny joke in the break."

Laura continued with her forecast but then burst into laughter again.

She said: "I'm sorry now I can see Ben looking at me and laughing now."

Laura soldiered on, but then was forced to turn towards the map away from the camera as she giggled away.

She said: "I'm so sorry, this is so unprofessional."

Laura was laughing so much that she started to cry and viewers on social media were quick to pick up on the incident.

Nick Tennent said: "Seeing Laura Tobin giggling through the GMB weather has just really brightened the start to my day! Thank you Laura... Much needed laughter!"

Simon Preston said: "The mornings are getting dark. The days are blurring in to one. Laura Tobin giggling her way through a weather report restores a little bit of humanity, which is probably what we all needed."

But Sam Palmer said: "Do you mind Laura? I take the weather very seriously."

As her forecast ended they went back to hosts Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid and Ben said: "We'll have to get to the bottom of what happened there Laura."

When they next went to Laura Susanna said: "We've heard the joke, but we're not allowed to tell you."

Ben said: "Oh are we not, go on Laura."

But Laura refused and managed to hide her giggles for the forecast.

*GMB continues at 6am on ITV tomorrow
