Good Morning Britain hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard were left baffled today after someone appeared to "pull the plug" on Sir Keir Starmer's interview on the show.
The Labour leader had been discussing whether it was safe to return to work as trade unions say more detail is needed, especially on PPE.
However the screen showing Keir speaking from an office froze and Ben said: "It looks like we have just lost the link to Keir Starmer. Have we managed to put a bit more money in the meter?"
When there was no reply, Ben quipped: "Someone's pulled the plug!"
Susanna responded: "That was weird, it sort of froze there."
"You know when your WiFi sort of drops out, that eternal frustration," Ben remarked.
But Susanna insisted: "But it normally glitches before it freezes."
"A bit of lag," Ben said. "It just sort of stopped."
Susanna continued: "Just checking that we can still get Sir Keir Starmer..."
"We're hoping that we can get him back," Ben said.
Unfortunately, the pair were unable to speak to Kier again and they were forced to turn to their next segment.
