Kate Garraway's Good Morning Britain co-presenters were in hysterics after she dropped some unintended innuendo about the 'amazing' milkman who has offered his support to her.
The presenter, who returned to ITV screens this week following some time off with illness, has had a difficult year, with husband Derek Draper still in hospital due to coronavirus. She hasn't seen him since Christmas.
Friday's show asked viewers to send in their Valentine's Day messages of appreciation, so Kate revealed who she was thankful for.
Kate said: "Mick! My milkman, who has just been amazing. He's absolutely kept me going because he's left little notes saying, 'Do you need anything extra other than the milk?'
The accidental Carry On style innuendo left her co-hosts cracking up before Kate buried her head in her hand..
Kate exclaimed: "I mean like bread, butter or orange juice as supplies!"
"The extras," said a grinning Ben.
Kate added: "He leaves a little smiley face."
"I bet he does," joked Ben.
"Are you still answering the door in your dressing gown and those fluffy slippers?"
Kate continued with a laugh: "Thank you, Mick! Shall we move onto other messages before I get in trouble?"
