Charlotte Hawkins has moaned about her extremely early start on New Year's Day to get up in time to host Good Morning Britain.
The TV presenter, 45, revealed she has to wake up at 2:45am to be ready to present the ITV show from 6am on the first day of the year.
She and Sean Fletcher, 46, have been hosting GMB over the Christmas holidays while the programme's regular hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid enjoy a long break.
The ITV stars were talking about how New Year's Eve will look very different this year with most of the country now under strict Tier 4 restrictions to halt the rise in coronavirus cases.
Charlotte said: "Obviously it's going to be a different New Year's Eve celebration for everybody, isn't it?
"Very different from what we're used to with lots of parties and everything.
"We've been told to stay indoors, stay with our households."
Sean told her: "I don't normally do a big thing on New Year's Eve and I will be doing pretty much the same, I'll throw a small thing just the family.
"I'll be staying in and I know lots of people who'd normally go out.
"My daughter's gonna be 23 next year and my son is 17, that's the time you normally go out. They're gonna be with their parents! What a drab New Year's Eve for them."
Charlotte added: "Well I'll be lucky if I make it 'til midnight, I think, because I'm getting up at 2:45 in the morning.
"That's quite a long day!
"It's worth celebrating, we want to put this year behind us and move on to next year."
