GMB fans plead for Piers Morgan's return as they blast 'car crash' programme

It's barely been a week since Piers Morgan went on his six-week holiday from Good Morning Britain and fans are already fed up and pleading for him to return.

The 54-year-old made his last appearance with co-host Susanna Reid until September last week.

Over the last week Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway have been filling in for the pair, while Adil Ray and Ranvir Singh appeared on the news programme this morning.

However many fans aren't happy with the change in tone and presenters, with some even switching over to BBC Breakfast.

One tweeted: "Piers, get your self back to GMB asap - it's become an absolute car crash since you went on holiday."

While another commented: "Good bye #gmb #poor #boring @gmb bring back @piersmorgan #piersmorgan."

A third remarked: "#GMB when @piersmorgan and @susannareid100 back? These 2 are giving me a headache."

"Please come back soon @piersmorgan !!! This is dire #GMB," another pleaded.

One tweeted: "#GMB Bring back Piers please!! Your current staff are typical of every other EU loving, biased news channel reporters."

Another fumed: "@piersmorgan #GMB s***e without you - it's bloody #yorkshireday and that's all they've got to talk about oh and a dog!"
