GMB fans distracted by hero dog's 'gorgeous' owner and flood him with marriage proposals

Good Morning Britain viewers fell in love with a hero dog on the show today - but were quickly distracted by his hunky owner.

Handler Marshall Mirachi appeared on the ITV programme with dog Hurricane, who is receiving the Order of Merit from PDSA Merit Award later today after saving former president Barack Obama from an attacker at the White House.

The former US Secret Service dog is the first international animal to receive the British honour.

Hurricane managed to stop an intruder who scaled a White House fence in October 2014. Despite the intruder punching and kicking him, the dog dragged the man to the ground and allowed the Secret Service agents to intercept.
