Good Morning Britain fans were left utterly devastated today as Lil Cox paid tribute to her sister Doris Hobday on the programme.
Lil and Doris, also known as the Tipton Twins, were the UK's oldest identical twins at the age of 96 and left Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid in hysterics with their witty remarks about sex last year.
But it was a much somber tone as Lil was interviewed alone following the death of her sister Doris after contracting coronavirus.
Lil was joined by her grandson Brayden and Piers said: "I was so distraught to hear that Doris had lost her life."
"You've got to make the best of it, there's no bringing her back," Lil replied, looking heartbroken. "It's only me now for how many years."
"It's been very hard for us as a family, very emotional," Brayden added.
Lil continued: "She was the only one I ever had."
"Everyone at Good Morning Britain is so sorry about Doris," Piers told her. "She's in our hearts, you're in our hearts."
A crowdfunding page has been set up in Doris' memory, to raise money for charity - with it already raising over £5,000.
Fans were left in tears and flocked to Twitter to comment, with one tweeting: "In tears watching #GMB, poor Lil looks so lost my heart goes out to her and all the families who have lost a loved one."
While another commented: "Lil has made me cry on #GMB The grief of losing her twin Doris is terrible. Such suffering."
A third wrote with a broken heart emoji: "Oh Lil."
"She's broken," another commented.
