GMB fans confused as Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid are replaced on show

Viewers tuning into Good Morning Britain to get their dose of Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid were left confused as they were missing from the ITV show today.

Sean Fletcher had opened the news programme at 6am before handing over to Kate Garraway and Ranvir Singh to co-present the rest of the show.

But fans were left scratching their heads that Piers and Susanna were replaced, not realising that they had taken time off during the October half term.

Viewers took to Twitter to comment, with one writing: "Wheres Piers & Suzanna??? #gmb."

While another disappointed fan tweeted: "Where's Piers ?? got up early to watch #GMB @piersmorgan."

A third wrote: "No Piers and only dopey Dan on BBC. TIME TO LEAVE."

"Where is @piersmorgan ? #gmb," another asked.

Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid did not appear on GMB (ITV)

Ranvir opened up about her Strictly debut at the weekend and couldn't help but reprimand co-star Kate for not warning her about how "painful" dancing was.

However, a grinning Kate pointed out: "Oh, I think I did!"

"Everybody takes it seriously - and rightly so!" Kate said about all of the celebrities before reading out Shirley Ballas' immediate impression of everyone.

"Maisie, she's told not to be confident," Kate said. "Our Ranvir, she said she could keep up with giovanni... you've got the right attitude at the moment, you're just loving it."

"The first live show is quite a big thing," Ranvir said, clearly worrying about next Saturday's show. "I was broken after that first day, totally broken!"

*Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
