Good Morning Britain viewers have pleaded with ITV bosses to make Judge Robert Rinder a permanent host.
ITV fans were pleasantly surprised when they laid eyes on the charismatic TV star who co-hosted Wednesday’s instalment of the morning show alongside host Susanna Reid.
The 43-year-old TV star admitted that it felt ‘surreal’ to be presenting the iconic show alongside his good friend Susanna, before viewers flocked to Twitter to gush about his charisma and unbiased opinions.
Opening the show, Rob gushed: “I am so happy to be here.
“I’m a little bit intimidated sitting beside you Susanna – you know what you’re doing.”
During the jam-packed show, Rob proved that he wasn’t afraid to ruffle a few feathers and stand up for what he believes in as he hit out at Prince Harry for signing a six-figure Netflix deal despite the same streaming site painting his late mum, Princess Diana, in a ‘pathetic’ manner.
And Rob’s opinions were met with much support and appreciation from Good Morning Britain fans who begged ITV bosses to make him a permanent host, months after Piers Morgan quit the show following his controversial remarks about Meghan Markle.
“How good is Rob Rinder on GMB? He’s just great and is not walking on eggshells like other temporary hosts,” one viewer tweeted.
“Loving Rob Rinder, what a surprise to see him co-hosting with Susanna! ITV need to make him a permanent host for sure,” another echoed.
A third chimed: “Just when I thought that I couldn’t love Rob Rinder anymore, he goes and STATES FACTS about Prince Harry ’s Netflix deal. Keep him on the show.”
“Rob Rinder is actually such a good GMB host. He’s not one-sided at all and is confrontational but in a gentle way,” someone else shared.
During the show, the GMB host questioned why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to sign a £112 million deal with Netflix, when the global streaming site painted Princess Diana in such a weak manner in The Crown.
“ Prince Harry ! What? With the greatest respect in the world, what qualifies him more than anybody else.
“I like Meghan and Harry, but what I don’t understand is if Harry is worried about misinformation, what about the fact that he and Meghan have taken a huge deal from Netflix – and the misinformation about their late mother Lady Diana.
“They have taken millions of pounds for this. How is that okay? How is that consistent and not misinformation?”
