Good Morning Britain viewers were left disgruntled today over Piers Morgan's absence, pleading for him to return as they branded the show a "snoozefest" without him.
Despite his controversial opinions and furious rants, the 55-year-old's presence on the ITV programme has seen viewing figures soar and - on his final day - overcome that of rival BBC Breakfast for the first time ever.
Piers had stormed off GMB after a row with co-star Alex Beresford, who branded his views on Meghan Markle "diabolical".
Last Tuesday evening, he was called into a meeting with ITV bosses but refused to apologise for saying that he didn't believe Meghan's claims she was suicidal during her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Switching on GMB today, some fans were disappointed to see that Piers had been replaced by Ben Shephard and complained that it "just wasn't the same".

One tweeted: "See this is when I would of wanted to turn on #GMB to see what @piersmorgan opinion was."
While another commented: "#GMB isn't the same without @piersmorgan #snoozefest."
A third wrote: "Christ #GMB is dump without @piersmorgan wait for the ratings to fall off a cliff #snoozefest."

"#bringbackpiers #gmb," another demanded.
A fan fumed: "this is s*** now without piers #GMB."
"#GMB.."The World Has Gone Nuts"!! Miss you @piersmorgan It's just not the same without you," another tweeted.
One lamented: "A sad start to week..regardless of weekend ...no piers ...welcome to woke morning Britain #gmb."
Another wrote: "Anyone else a little sad we’re not waking up to Piers on a Monday morning? #GMB."
But others were happy with the lack of Piers Morgan, with one tweeting: "No sour chops Pierce Morgan .... happy sigh ‘ahhhhh’ ..and it’s a Good Morning Britain ... #GMB."
