Now, setting up meetings from Gmail is going to be quite simple. Google has launched a new Gemini-powered feature called “Help me schedule”. It automatically suggests meeting times based on your availability and the context of your email.

The majority of the official communication happens via Gmail, and we all know how messy it gets to do the back-and-forth, especially with clients or external partners. However, it seems like Google is at the rescue, as the new feature is said to detect when you’re trying to arrange a meeting and show a Help me schedule button in the toolbar.
Clicking the button prompts Gemini to scan your Google Calendar and the email’s content to find ideal time slots. For example, if someone asks for a 30-minute call next week, Gemini will recommend suitable options that fit your schedule.
Obviously, you can tweak these suggestions by adding or removing time slots before inserting them into your email. However, once the recipient picks a time that works for them, a Calendar invite is created automatically for both parties.
At launch, the feature only supports scheduling between two individuals, not groups. The new “Help me schedule” feature in Gmail will be turned on by default for eligible Workspace users. It already started rolling out gradually for Rapid Release domains from October 13, 2025, and for Scheduled Release domains, the rollout will begin on October 28, 2025, taking up to 15 days for full visibility. The feature will be available to users on Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Starter, Standard and Plus, Google AI Pro for Education, Frontline Plus, Google AI Pro, AI Ultra, and Gemini Business and Enterprise customers.
