A university has placed a development site in Wrexham on the market.
Property consultancy Legat Owen has been instructed by Wrexham Glyndwr University to market a site in the town, which has planning for a new residential development scheme.
Located to the north of Holt Road, the 5.9-acre site has outline planning consent for up to 74 dwellings.
Will Rees, director at Legat Owen, said: “This site will provide much-need quality homes to the Wrexham area. The site has outline planning consent for up to 74 dwellings together with pedestrian access from Holt Road. We are expecting offers by informal tender.”
Lynda Powell, executive director of operations at Wrexham Glyndwr University, added: “We pride ourselves on continually improving the University.
“Our Campus 2025 strategy was created to help significantly improve all areas of our campuses.
“The sale of this land, which is surplus to our requirements, will allow us to generate revenue which will be reinvested into the University.”
