Glow in the dark Crocs now exist - and are expected to sell out within hours

The only way to cover up the fact you're wearing Crocs is to turn the lights off, right?

Wrong... as now you can get glow in the dark versions of the iconic comfy footwear, so the world always knows exactly what shoes you're wearing - even when it's pitch black.

The limited edition, glow in the dark Croc will arrive fully-loaded with a curated assortment of custom, glow-in-the-dark Jibbitz charms that read #CROC DAY IS LIT, and also come with a UV light so you can be repeatedly impressed by their glow.

Set to go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday 23 October) on the Crocs website, they'll become available at 10.23am in whatever your local time zone is, the shoe will set you back £49.99, but you'll need to be quick if you want a pair, as last year’s limited-edition Croc Day shoe sold out within just a few hours.

The one-of-a-kind shoes have been created in partnership with premier streetwear brand Pizzaslime to celebrate Croctober, going on sale tomorrow on National Croc Day - a day apparently adopted by brand fans as a way to celebrate all things Crocs with the shared hashtag #CrocDay.

Talking about the shoes, Terence Reilly, Crocs SVP and CMO said, “We wouldn’t be who we are without our loyal and passionate fan base who embody our mantra, ‘Come As You Are.’”

“Our fans have been celebrating Croctober around the globe and on Croc Day, I can’t wait to release these amazing, one-of-a-kind classic clogs. They are truly something special, and we’re excited to grow and glow together.”

Meanwhile Stoveman, co-creator of Pizzaslime, added “I don’t know how else to say it, Crocs are cool and have an extremely loyal following.”

“They’re a brand that embraces individuality and self-expression like no other. That’s why we like working with them and why they’re popular in the streetwear space.”
