A Gloucestershire company has been shortlisted for a national award for the third year running.
Accountants Randall & Payne are among the finalists for Audit Team of the Year at the British Accountancy Awards.
Russel Byrd, audit partner of Randall & Payne said: “Being shortlisted for this award for three years running is an amazing achievement for the audit team.
“This recognition is testament to the audit team, and how hard we work to deliver a first-class service to our clients. I am extremely proud of them.”
This year the company has taken on two new staff and have invested in digitising the business.
Efficiency improvement, says Russel, has also allowed the team to take on more clients.
He added: “[My] team offer a professional, competent, helpful and friendly service, and it’s these positive relations which have been built with clients which are resulting in more referrals.
“Tenders are being sent to larger and more complicated entities than they have ever dealt with before.”
The winner of the award will be announced at an event in London on September 25. More than 1,000 guests from practices all over the country are expected to attend.
Randall & Payne has been trading in Gloucestershire for 140 years and employs 55 staff.
