A Vietnamese restaurant in Gloucester Road will temporarily close for two weeks starting tomorrow (August 2).

Pho Lounge, which opened last year on December 22,  will be shut until August 16 due to "unforeseen circumstances".

In a statement posted on Instagram, a spokesperson for Pho Lounge apologised to customers for the inconvenience caused and confirmed when the restaurant will reopen.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Pho Lounge will be closed from Friday (August 2) to Friday (August 16)," the post reads.

"Business will resume on August 17.

"We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused.

"Thank you for understanding. We look forward to seeing you again."

A spokesperson for the restaurant told Bristol Live the closure was for "personal reasons".
