Glorious Goodwood day two tips plus best bets for Perth, Redcar, Sandown, Leicester and Galway

STUDIO CITY (3.00) can call the shots in the Molecomb Stakes on Day Two of Glorious Goodwood.

Michael O'Callaghan’s colt was a real eye-catcher when fourth on debut in a red-hot Cork maiden.

The juvenile improved again when giving the classy Wodao most problems on faster going at Navan.

He then open his account by mercilessly dispatching the promising Hilltop Gold at the same venue.

The youngster is a smart sprinter in the making so he can play the starring role under Ryan Moore.

SECRET STATE (1.50) can show his mettle for thriving Charlie Appleby in the Coral Handicap.

The three-year-old oozed class when routing Honiton in a traditionally informative Chester maiden.

He then shrugged-off dropping back to a mile when thrashing the useful Laasudood at Nottingham.

The colt really excelled himself when chinning Deauville Legend over 1m 4f in the George V at Ascot.

That was a superb renewal so this strong-traveller can give weight and a beating to a cracking field.

SAMAHRAM (2.25) looks solid for French Ace Francis-Henri Graffard in the Oak Tree Stakes.

The three-year-old began her career by decisively defeating Silver Sign over 1m 2f at Saint-Cloud.

She took another step forward when second to Place Du Carrousel in a Group 3 at the same track.

The filly made no mistake when edging out Gregarina in a one-mile Listed contest at Longchamp.

The rapid-improver doesn’t lack speed so she can triumph over seven furlongs for Frankie Dettori.

BAAEED (3.35) can write another chapter in his legend for William Haggas in the Sussex Stakes.

The four-year-old developed into a bona-fide superstar with a string of devastating wins last year.

He looked even better when bolting up from Real World on his return in the Lockinge at Newbury.

The colt then treated the same rival with a similar level of contempt in the Queen Anne at Ascot.

The son of Sea The Stars is the best miler around so he should stay unbeaten under Jim Crowley.

The Newmarket Maestro can then land the trappy EBF Handicap with SEA SPEEDWELL (4.10).

The four-year-old went into plenty of notebooks when slamming Santa Florentina at Kempton.

She was then unlucky to meet the exciting Oriole on her Turf bow in a decent event at Leicester.

The filly remains nicely unexposed over 1m 2f so she can take advantage of a fair opening mark.

STAR OF LADY M (4.45) can sparkle for in-form David O’Meara in the Alice Kepple Stakes.

The two-year-old showed impressive speed when claiming three of her first four career outings.

The filly then found Listed level too much when well-beaten in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot.

However, she soon bounced back by comfortably denying the consistent Explicit at Musselburgh.

The grey looks open to plenty more progress so she can get the better of some promising rivals.

BOWMAN (5.20) can hit the target for shrewd Laura Mongan in the World Pool Handicap.

The four-year-old relished returning to Turf when cosily dismissing Lord Rapscallion at Epsom.

He ran another blinder when chinned by Puerto De Vega over six furlongs at the same venue.

The gelding remains well-treated for his current yard so she can go one better back over seven.

PETITE RHAPSODY (1.00) can extend Lucinda Russell’s terrific run on July Raceday at Perth.

The hurdler stayed on track when edged out by the prolific Glen Ava over three miles in June.

He improved again when filling the same spot behind his old rival in a similar race on his return.

The gelding should still be in top form so he can enjoy a well-deserved win dropped four furlongs.

The Arlary handler can double-up with EMIRAT DE CATANA (2.10) in the Clansman’s Hurdle.

The gelding put in his best shift for a while when just denied by Pammi over course and distance.

The eight-year-old is fairly-treated over timber so he can gain compensation on the softer going.

FIRST ANGEL (1.35) can swoop for skilled handler Laura Morgan in the Edinburgh Gin Chase.

The six-year-old was a creditable third behind Pens Man on his return over 2m 4f at Stratford.

The gelding should be primed so he can defy a welter-burden in the hands of Brian Hughes.

Gordon Elliott can bag his customary winner here with BRITZKA (3.20) in the Heineken Hurdle.

The gelding recorded a career best when chasing home handicap blot Dollar Value at Downpatrick.

The four-year-old is still on the upgrade so he can prevail after some reasonable spins on the Flat.

GET WITH IT (3.55) can take ‘em apart for Rose Dobbin in the Racing TV Handicap Chase.

The gelding left some tepid efforts over fences behind when second to Cardboard Gangster here.

That race is working out well so the seven-year-old should brush aside some exposed opponents.

EL BARRA (6.40) call roll over his rivals for Willie Mullins in the ever-competitive Galway Plate.

The eight-year-old was far from disgraced when third in the Turners’ Novice Chase at Cheltenham.

The gelding then claimed a big prize of his own when hacking up from Busselton at Punchestown.

There is plenty more to come from this pacey type who looks tailor-made for this historic contest.
