American violinist Noah Bendix-Balgley, concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic, joins the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra to perform Brahm’s monumental Violin Concerto and Dvořák’s Seventh Symphony.
Brahm’s work has grand scope, and the violin brings a lightness of touch to the symphonic orchestral piece. As a counter balance, Dvořák’s Seventh Symphony is the D minor is a heavy piece that lightens towards the end with its clear and bright closing bars.
