Gloria Hunniford has become the second contestant to be knocked out of the latest series of The Masked Singer UK.
Television and radio presenter Gloria had performed in tonight's episode of the quirky series as Snow Leopard and wowed the studio audience with her upbeat rendition of 'Big Spender' - but was voted out by the judges.
The quirky ITV series sees celebrities don elaborate costumes and sing their hearts out to a panel of judges and a studio audience with viewers challenged to work out 'who's that behind the mask?'
Each episode sees various quirky characters compete against each other for the approval of the judging panel, comprising Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, Rita Ora and Jonathan Ross, with their least-favourite contestant 'unmasked' at the end of each episode.
On the first episode on January 1, viewers were shocked to see soul singer and former lead vocalist of the band M People, Heather Small, unmasked as the 'Chandelier' character.
And tonight's episode (January 2) left viewers speechless too, with 81-year-old television star Gloria unmasked as Snow Leopard.
This year's series features 12 characters in total, with six having performed on the first episode on January 1 and six others having performed on the second episode on January 2.
The six characters in this evening's show were split into three pairs, with each pair performing against each other for a coveted spot in the next round of the competition series.
As typical for the series, this evening's episode saw the performer who impressed the judging panel the least knocked out of the competition - and their true identity was revealed.
After Gloria Hunniford was ceremoniously "un-masked," the star said: "I genuinely love this programme, I couldn't believe it when I was asked to take part."
Turning to the judges, she joked: "[My outfit] was so beautiful - but you didn't like it enough to keep me, did you?"
