Global superstar Sting spotted in Scottish city ahead of outdoor show

GLOBAL superstar Sting has been pictured in Glasgow ahead of his gig on Wednesday evening.

The former Police frontman was spotted leaving the Blythswood Hotel in the city centre.

He was wearing a blue jumper and jeans as he stepped outside, carrying a green bag.

Photographer Gordon Terris captured the musician as he left.

The 73-year-old is set to take to the stage at Bellahouston Park in the Southside tonight, as part of the Summer Sessions line-up.

Ahead of the event, ScotRail has urged those travelling by train to the concert to buy their tickets in advance.

Meanwhile, the Subway is not operational today due to ongoing strikes.
