NAKHON RATCHASIMA: Global House is still evaluating the damage from a sudden summer storm that pummeled its outlet in Muang district, collapsing part of the car park canopy and damaging vehicles.

Pisit Wataniyanon, deputy director of the Nakhon Ratchasima branch, said on Tuesday after the inspection that an insurance company he did not name was assessing the overall damage. About 20 vehicles in the customer parking area were damaged by fallen roofing, he said.

The store remained open to customers as the building structure was not affected by the storm, he said.

The storm-driven wind pounded the store's Nakhon Ratchasima branch on Monday.

Global House is operated by Siam Global House Plc.
