A SCOTTISH dealership has picked up a prestigious global award from Nissan for its electric vehicle sales and work.
Alex F Noble & Son, of Straiton, Midlothian, is one of just 25 dealers worldwide to win Nissan’s coveted EV CEO Award. The family-run outfit was the first in Scotland to sell the all-electric LEAF family car back in 2011.
The gong was presented to Noble EV specialist Alastair Loudon by Nissan’s global EV business chairwoman Asako Hoshino at a special ceremony in Japan.
As well as receiving the award, Alastair enjoyed a six-day trip to Tokyo, which included a rare opportunity to visit the Nissan factory at Oppama and Nissan’s Global Technical Centre.
Alastair said: “It was a huge honour not only for myself to receive the EV CEO Award on behalf of Alex F Noble Nissan but also for everyone at the dealership to win this coveted accolade.”
