Visitors flock to the lighting ceremony of a winter illumination event held at Nabana no Sato park in Kuwana, Mie Prefecture, on Friday. The main site, spread out over about 26,400 square meters, is found at the end of a 200-meter-long illuminated tunnel. Centered around the theme of a sea of clouds, the area features a roughly 30-meter-tall and 155-meter-wide object adorned with LED lights. The illumination depicts the beauty of various formations in nature, such as a mountain range blanketed by colorful flowers. The lights are switched on at around 5 p.m. on most days and the event is scheduled to run through May 31.
