Glitter Cymru and Bi Cymru amongst Welsh groups celebrating Bi Visibility Day

Bi Visibility Day takes place on September 23 to celebrate the bisexual community and it's history.

Bi Cymru Wales, supported by Pride Cymru, will be hosting a digital event which will invite participants to ask questions and engage in a discussion.

Supported by a BSL interpreter, the event is for ages 16+ and will take place from 2pm-4pm.

The event will also talk about the wider community and will discuss anyone who is attracted to more than one gender. This would include; bisexuals, pansexuals, pollyamorous and omni sexual individuals. The event will also be dedicated to anyone who do not use labels.

Glitter Cymru, Wales' ethnic minority LGBT+ group, will also be hosting a digital event.

Taking place on their YouTube channel on the 23 September, the small panel will consist of two members of Glitter Cymru and two from Bi Collective Delhi - a community collective of bisexuals in Delhi.

A spokesperson from Glitter Cymru said: "We are discussing bisexuality as an umbrella term, which is inclusive of pansexuality, monosexuality and all non-monosexualities"

"We share our unique experiences as bisexuals of black/poc/ethnic minorities comparatively in India, Wales and within other traditional cultures".

Both events are free to attend.
