Some of the about 250 maple trees at Ninnaji temple in Kyoto glisten in the rain as they are illuminated along with the Kondo main hall during a lighting test on Tuesday. The test was run ahead of a photography event at the World Heritage site in Ukyo Ward to be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on June 6-16.
