Glentoran vs Cliftonville travel advice ahead of weekend game

Glentoran have issued some travel advice for fans attending this weekend's Danske Bank Premiership game against Cliftonville.

The two sides meet at the Oval on Saturday, March 7 (3pm kick-off).

The Glens say road resurfacing work around the East Belfast stadium could cause "traffic delays and possible long queues".

Updating fans on their website, Glentoran said: "The Sydenham By Pass country bound lanes from Dee Street to George Best City Airport, will be closed for resurfacing from Friday 6th March at 23:30 until the morning of Monday 9th March and for 2 weekends after, subject to weather.

"Access to the Oval from the Dee Street lights will continue as normal. However there are bound to be traffic delays and possible long queues.

"Therefore we suggest that supporters of both clubs leave home earlier than normal to avoid likely long queues just before kick off time."
