Glentoran reveal one-off training top as they announce NIKE deal

Glentoran have announced NIKE as the club's new kit supplier for all its teams.

The deal will begin this June and will be managed by former Glens striker Chris Morgan, owner of Clubsport NI.

Fans will be able to purchase the new bespoke shirts and replica kits when they are released later in the year.

Commercial Director Colin Jess told the Glentoran website: “We are delighted with this arrangement with NIKE, one of the worlds leading suppliers of quality playing kit and training gear. The partnership reflects the club’s desire to be best in class both on and off the pitch and will help us to compete at the highest level.

"The decision to partner with this market leading brand matches these ambitions. I believe that in choosing NIKE, we are making a real statement as to our plans for our club and also of our hopes for the future”.

Former Oval hero Morgan added: “Club Sport NI is delighted to extend the agreement with Glentoran for a further two years.

"Having developed a strong relationship with the club over the past three seasons, we are excited at the prospect of kitting the club out in the Nike brand.”
