Glentoran goalkeeper helps Gibraltar claim Nations League win

Glentoran goalkeeper Dayle Coleing helped Gibraltar to their first win in almost two years on Saturday.

Coleing - who joined Glentoran from Europa FC last month - started in the 1-0 victory over San Marino.

Graeme Torilla got the winning goal in the 42nd minute as Gibraltar kicked off their Nations League campaign with three points.

Gibraltar are in League D alongside San Marino and Liechtenstein.

Ironically, their previous win before Saturday was a 2-1 success against Liechtenstein in October, 2018.

Since then they have lost all 12 international games.

Coleing tweeted after Saturday's success: "Great win from the boys today. First international clean sheet, proud is an understatement @GibraltarFA.

"Now to get back to work with @Glentoran and prepare for the season."

Coleing has made five senior appearances for Gibraltar.

He has previously played against Denmark, Switzerland (twice) and Kosovo.
