Glentoran announce return of Bobby Burns on permanent deal

Glentoran have announced the return of Bobby Burns on a permanent deal.

Burns spent last year on loan with the Glens but suffered a double leg break back in October which ended his season.

He did remain at the Oval for his rehabilitation and was also helped out with some technical analysis with the East Belfast club.

Burns became available after he was released by mutual agreement from English League Two side Barrow AFC.

The 21-year-old did feature in the club's pre-season games against Birmingham City, Bolton and Nottingham Forest

He becomes Glentoran's fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Aaron McCarey, Ross Glendinning and Jordan Jenkins.
