Two people have been rushed to hospital after a bus crash in Glenrothes.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of the accident, at Woodside Way close to the Bankhead Roundabout, shortly after 7am on Saturday morning.

Two vehicles were involved in the smash – a car and a bus – and both drivers were taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy by ambulance for treatment.

The busy Fife roundabout was closed for part of the morning as a result with motorists forced to divert via other routes.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.10am on Saturday, 25 April, 2020, a road traffic collision involving a bus and a car occurred at Woodside Way, Glenrothes.

"Both drivers were taken by ambulance to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy."
