Glenrosa Street Belfast disturbance leaves one person in hospital

One person was taken to hospital after a disturbance in North Belfast over the weekend.

Police were called to a house in the Glenrosa Street area of the city on Sunday night, June 2.

One person was taken to hospital and a 27-year-old man was arrested. There was police tape at the scene today.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Police received a report of a disturbance at a property in the Glenrosa Street area of North Belfast on Sunday night (2nd June).

"One person was taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries.

"A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and common assault and remains in custody."
