According to reports in Australian media, the country's star allrounder Glenn Maxwell was taken to a hospital following a big night out in Adelaide but was discharged soon after and is back in training for the T20 series against the West Indies.
The report by '7NEWS' adds that the World Cup winner "made a star appearance at a popular golf event in Adelaide’s CBD on Friday night".
"The night then took Maxwell to a pub where former Aussie cricketer Brett Lee and his band Six and Out were playing. It was from there that Maxwell was taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital in an ambulance," the report further read.
However, the reason for Maxwell suddenly requiring medical attention is still unknown, while Cricket Australia is aware of the development.
Maxwell was earlier rested for the ODI series against the West Indies.
