Glenn Hoddle admitted watching Tottenham pull off an incredible comeback to reach the Champions League final made his recovery from his heart attack worth it.
Spurs legend Hoddle suffered a cardiac arrest in October last year on his 61st birthday in the BT Sport studio.
The former England manager was rushed to St Bartholomew's Hospital for emergency surgery after a member of the studio staff gave him CPR.
But he has managed to make a full recovery and was part of BT Sport's punditry team in Amsterdam as Tottenham came from 3-0 behind to win their semi-final tie with Ajax.
Hoddle made over 400 appearances for Spurs having come through their academy - winning two FA Cups and a UEFA Cup during his 12 seasons at the club.

He then returned to White Hart Lane in 2001 to take charge of the club, winning 41 times in 104 outings.
“I’m so glad I’m still around to see that,” Hoddle emotionally said.
Mauricio Pochettino's men had lost their first leg 1-0 and went 2-0 down on the night during a breathless first half to stare at a 3-0 aggregate deficit.

But Lucas Moura crashed a second half hat-trick, including a stoppage time winner to send Spurs to their maiden Champions League final.
Spurs will meet Liverpool , who pulled off an almost identical comeback against Barcelona in their semi-final, in Madrid on June 1.
