Gleniffer High pupils say goodbye with day full of adventure

Pupils celebrated their last ever day of school with a day of adventure sports.

Gleniffer High teens went out with a bang as their sixth year of lessons came to an end at Lapwing Lodge.

Pals took on archery, kayaking, sumo wrestling and climbing before saying goodbye to classmates and teachers.

Evelyn Feggans, depute head in charge of S6, paid tribute to the outgoing senior year.

She said: “The pupils had a fantastic day out at Lapwing Lodge.

“I was very impressed by the standard of behaviour throughout the day.

“They were a real credit to the school.

“This year’s sixth year have been exceptional.

“They have worked so hard throughout the
year.

“It was great to see them relax and enjoy themselves before they move on to the next stage of their lives.”

Pupils at the school, in Amochrie Road, scrawled messages on each other’s shirts during the final day so they have keepsakes of their time together.
